Those of you who aren’t ready to wade into the Blog pool are taking your time for several reasons, according to my informal interviews with people before and after they blog. Others start blogging and then abandon their projects too soon, unaware of the benefits.
Find a blogging medium that you are comfortable with. There are some options out there for free blogs and there are some paid services that are very reasonable, some for commercial and some for non-commercial use.
If your visitors don’t feel like they are getting a personality vibe from you, they are often less likely to buy. Vibe = buy. Remember that, and that blogs make it easy for you to vibe.
Simply put, blogs can help increase the prominence of your main website. As we all know, traffic is the lifeblood of every online business, and 80% of the traffic that can be generated for any website would come from the search engines. To secure a good position in the search engine results, you’d need to increase your website’s page rank. And one way of making this happen is to have as many back links as possible. Back links refer to the number of websites linking to your main website.

Unfortunately, it is a very crowded niche. I have had more success by building smaller blogs talking about subjects that are far less interesting. A roundabout way to do this would be guest blogging or commenting on other blogs, linking back to your blog. People come to your site, and start following you.
After you’ve finished editing your movie, you’ll need to compress it in preparation for uploading to your vblog. But here’s the catch. You want the movie compressed as far as possible so your audience will be able to download it and view it quickly; but the smaller you compress your movie, the less sharp your video quality will be. The idea is to find a happy medium, with your movie as small as possible, but with enough resolution left that your audience isn’t squinting to turn your grainy square-pixellated image into something vaguely human.
However, used properly, with planning and with testing. blogging can make you additional revenue. So, don’t hang up that keyboard just yet. Start your business blog as soon as you can.
