There are extremely talented potential filmmakers out there that never make a movie because they just can’t bring themselves to take the leap of faith. Saying yes to making a movie starts with an attitude that regardless if your movie is entertaining or terrible at least you give it an honest go to see if you got the fire in you to make movies.
When it comes to the Film Industry, you probably ALREADY KNOW that it is “About who you know, not what you know.” Provided that you have basic common sense and you absorb anything that is taught to you, then you can make it in the industry. In Pre-Production, preparations are made for the shooting of the film. Usually in this stage the cast and crew is hired, a director will be found, and actors will be auditioned and hired. The locations of the film will be selected and sets will be built. Also, in this stage a storyboard is created, visualizing the scenes in the film.
You could also go into production for yourself. If you own a camera and some editing gear, you could start your own production company and start shooting weddings and other events, low budget music videos and even local commercials.

Securing the rights to major films like Harry Potter, Superman, Batman, The Matrix and Star Wars have made Warner Bros. the No. 1 name in the business.
If you are the person who can’t find his or her keys and has no idea how much is in your checking account, you need help. Get organized. There is simply no proxy for it.
Remember, the film industry is like any other industry. It is like the Manufacturing Industry. It is like the Car Industry. It is even like the Manual Labour Industry. It is just another industry that makes up the job market. Everyone treats it like an invitation only elite community which in a way it is but it doesn’t mean you have to treat it any different to the other industries.
Not only will you be in the thick of things when it relates to the film making business, you will observe how to approach major production agencies. By the time you leave the LA Film School, you will know the company inside and out, let alone have more than a few films that will show what type of a film maker you can be.
