A Business Tail: Veterinarian Foams At Mouth, Chases Tail, Learns New Tricks–Case Study

I’m the first to admit that housekeeping isn’t my forte. I love it when my home is fresh and sparkling, but I loathe the process of house cleaning. To be honest, I don’t understand people like my friend Kristie, who says that cleaning is therapeutic and relieves stress. Granted, I feel a bit stressed when my house is messy, but the dread of getting out the buckets and cleansers trumps any discomfort I may have. The result? I probably put more energy into feeling bad about my situation than it would take to actually clean the house.

Painting contractor will need to know types of paint to be used: flat, semi-gloss, gloss, egg shell, etc. Contractor will also need to know were these paints will go. It is a good idea to mark the areas with each paint color so nobody gets confused.

Out of deck builder everything I did in the Navy this must of been the worst place to end up. The barracks that we were staying in, only required that you check in each day, and they would let you know what was going on in the morning times. The first few days, we would check in at 7:00 a.m., and they would say, “Your ship will not be back in San Diego until we don’t know when.” (The reason they could never tell us anything, was because, it was classified, I later learned).

Look for the “leaks” in your business – where are you losing your sales? On the initial call or “walk in”, at the sales presentation, the quote, or just a few small “leaks” at every step?

I could see how these guys who fly helicopters, might have the coolest job in the Navy. We flew really close to the water, and I wondered what would happen if a wave just appeared? We would of been gone, if that would of been the South China Sea. But, it was a nice day outside, and you could see, all the flying fish, that are out in the middle of the ocean better, and sometimes we would watch them, to see how far some of them could go, and some of those fish, they would come out of the water, and they could go for 25 to 30 feet across the top of the water, and all the way out.

In order to allow for proper drainage and limit the possibility of water damage, all decks should be at least one inch lower than the main level of the house. In areas that get lots of snow, a bigger step, as much as seven inches, might be appropriate.

We finally approached the USS DAVID R. RAY, and I could see this little gray ship as we got nearer to it. Then I could see that it was zooming across the water, and we were going to land on it, while it was still moving across the water and going up and down. I don’t know how that pilot, was able to land a helicopter, on a ship that was moving across the ocean, and up and down, threw the waves, but he did, with no problems.
